Dysfunction Meets Destruction by Dr. Paul Fick

September 7, 2012

When former President Clinton embraced President Obama we witnessed a synergy between dysfunction and destruction, according to Dr. Paul Fick, author of The Destructive President: Inside the Mind of Barack Obama.

Clinton, as you may recall, was disbarred from practicing law before the Supreme Court,  had his law license suspended for five years, and was fined $25,000 for lying under oath in a desperate effort at covering up his sexual misconduct. He was also impeached for perjury and suborning perjury. Nonetheless, we are supposed to believe Clinton when he pronounces that Obama is doing a bang-up job and we would be fortunate to have him for another four years. Clinton also has swamp land for sale if you are interested.

Obama had even better news for us. If you give him another four years he promises 100,000 new teachers, 600,000 new natural gas workers, and two million new trainees. (Clinton’s ears perked up when he heard “trainees,” he thought Obama said “interns.”) Wow. If Obama is reelected we can count on 2.7 million new jobs in those three sectors alone. That sounds a lot like “shovel ready jobs” to me. The shovel ready jobs did not materialize and neither will these 2.7 million fantasy jobs.

As the saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. There were a lot of fools in that arena adoring the purveyors of dysfunction and destruction.

Clinton lies for his own glory. Obama lies to maintain his power to destroy.

Nothing frosts the Left like the sight of Sarah Palin receiving adoration while earning a big pay day according to Dr. Paul Fick, the Doctor of Politics ( The latest example of Sarah Palin bashing was uttered by the previously unheard of California State Senator, Leland Yee, Ph.D. Dr. Yee earned his doctorate in psychology, not economics, as soon will become evident.
Yee’s website touts a lengthy list of legislative “accomplishments” (110 bills passed since 2003) including his bill to make California the first state to officially declare October as Filipino American History Month. Given California’s economic collapse under the leadership of Yee and his comrades, the image of Nero fiddling while Rome is burning comes to mind.
Yee is ticked off because former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is contracted to serve as the guest of honor at California State University Stanislaus’ 50th Anniversary Gala in June. The black-tie event is a fundraiser and Palin is a big-time draw for a university in a remote part of the state.
Yee asserts his power as a legislator “requesting” that the university’s Foundation disclose the compensation package offered to Palin under the guise that funds used to pay her “exorbitant speaking fees” are inappropriate “at a time when students are struggling to afford an education at CSU.” Funny, I don’t recall Yee whining when CSU Fullerton held fundraisers featuring the Steve Miller Band, Reba McEntire, or Stevie Nicks.
Yee revealed the true motivation for his outrage when he said, “Money that is spent on bringing an out-of-touch former politician to campus could be spent on scholarships and other financial assistance during these challenging budget times.” Apparently Yee, who has helped create California’s massive deficit, lacks the understanding that people will pay good money to hear Palin speak thus enabling the Foundation to earn a profit and assist struggling students.
The “out-of-touch politician” he refers to left Alaska in a great financial condition, similar to California’s heyday before Yee and his fellow Leftists spent it into oblivion. Rather than bash CSU Stanislaus and Sarah Palin, perhaps Yee and his fellow legislators could invite her to swing by Sacramento and give them a basic lesson in economics. Now, that would be worth the speaking fee.

Dr. Paul Fick, The Doctor of Politics (  has been sounding the alarm that America is under assault by a cadre of tyrants led by President Obama. The usual suspects, like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, are easy to identify because of their outspoken anti-freedom diatribes. The House of Representatives’ vote today on the so-called Health Reform bill unmasked how deeply the subversion of free-market principles runs through the halls of Congress.

Congressman Bart Stupak, who has used the health care debate for self-aggrandizement under the guise of being a “pro-life Democrat,” has been unmasked as a fraud. Congressman Stupak cut a deal with President Obama which provided him the political deniability to do what he always wanted to do, vote to socialize one-sixth of the economy. Stupak is not stupid. He knows full well that Obama was on a quest to “save my presidency” at the expense of freedom and our nation’s economic well-being. Stupak was willing to sell his soul like Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees.

The Doctor of Politics emailed Stupak unmasking him as a fraud. As a typical elitist, Stupak’s automatic email response indicated that, regrettably, the congressman is unable to respond to contacts outside of his congressional district in Michigan. Well, we have news for you, Congressman Stupak. You may not be able to respond to us but we can and will respond to you and every one of your fellow tyrants. Our response will be loud and clear in November 2010 and 2012, anyone who voted for this tyrannical power grab and those who were fence sitters will be ousted from office. This bill must be overturned.

As Thunderclap Newman sang, “Call out the instigators because there’s something in the air. We’ve got to get together sooner or later because the revolution’s here. And you know it’s right.”

Clinical psychologist and author of The Dysfunctional President, Dr. Paul Fick (, knows the devastating effects of dependency. Dependency causes a lack of motivation and incentive, and crushes one’s sense of identity.
Given that dependency is such a destructive force, Dr. Fick asks, “why would President Obama be doing everything in his power to create a society loaded with dependents?” The answer, of course, is that Obama and his band of not so merry statists want total control over your life, cradle to grave. Over-controllers like Obama need dependents as much as dependents need someone to control them.
Obama’s political vision has been distorted by a very disturbed upbringing, simmering rage against authority, and a failed attempt at muting his rage with drugs and alcohol in his youth. Even at his recent medical examination, his physician recommended that Obama moderate his alcohol intake. But the president has found the ultimate means of controlling his rage – political power. With political power, Obama is free to act out his unresolved childhood angst upon the masses – you and me.
The Doctor Of Politics will explain how Obama’s unresolved anger infects his political judgment in upcoming blogs and his soon to be released book. Contact Dr. Paul Fick, psychologist, political author, and commentator at

“At what point do we all realize that President Obama is channeling Saul Alinsky?” asks Dr. Paul Fick ( Obama leaves the unmistakable impression that he is huddled behind his teleprompter with an Ouija Board, aromatic foods, and candles, beckoning Alinsky to “commune with us.”
The Channeler in Chief has brought Alinsky to life on a number of high-profile occasions of late.
The line evoking the greatest outbreak of depressive moans during his State of the Union speech was, “I don’t quit.” In Rules for Radicals, Alinsky wrote, “Radicals must be resilient.”
Obama conjured up Alinsky again when he squared off with House Republicans at their retreat in Maryland declaring, “I am not an ideologue.” Before Shakespeare could roll over in his grave and shout, “Thou doest protest too much,” Obama reiterated, “I’m not.” Okay, if you say so. As Alinsky wrote about Organizers, “He does not have a fixed truth. Truth to him is relative and changing. He is a political relativist.”
The icing on the cake came when Obama led the seance at Blair House. Surrounded by fellow Radicals, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, Obama feigned bipartisanship before declaring, “We will go it alone,” to pass so-called Health Care Reform. Or, in Alinsky’s words, “All of life is partisan. There is no dispassionate objectivity.”
Obama lacks an identity. He is, in essence, a Stepford Radical.
